  I thought it was time for an update. Their cheese pizza with pepperoni is my new obsession. And for the salads? The anti pasta salad is so so good. Love the pasta salad too with chicken. I sometimes get that with my pizza to take for lunch the following day. Comes in the perfect container. And the breadsticks mmm
  
  I usually call in my order on my way over there. And it's little to no wait for my food when I arrive.
  
  Nucci's is simply the best pizza in SLO.

  Just had the most disappointing experience. Ordered a vegetarian pizza for pickup. Got home and realized that not only was it the wrong pizza, it was a meat pizza... I called to explain the mixup and they kept suggesting that I could just 'keep it'. (Would I have really made the effort to call if I wanted to keep it?)
  
  If I didn't want to keep it, my other option was to wait 45 minutes (as they were really busy) and come back to pick it up. No offer of a refund, or even to deliver the correct pizza, I would have to come pick it up after my 45 min wait. They were 'really sorry' but couldn't have sounded more indifferent.
  
  Really poor service and also frustrating they simply did not care about ruining someone's dinner.

  I should start by saying that, the service here is extremely friendly. Both times I've been here, the server was beyond nice.
  
  FIrst time I came here for the spaghetti and meatballs, which tasted fine.
  
  Second time, was a completely different experience. I have absolutely zero tolerance for burnt food. It is beyond me to understand how a professional staff can burn food. I ordered the parmesan chicken today and had burnt edges on my chicken! There was nobody even in the restaurant, so it's not like they didn't have time to prepare the food properly. In the servers defence, she did offer to take it back, but I don't send back food. I'm too afraid of what the chief might do to my second plate... In the end, I didn't get charged for the chicken. Which is I guess the only reason why I didn't give it 1 star.
  
  I'm so tired of burnt food! I really didn't expect to get an experience like this here, especially considering how slow it was when burnt chicken happened.

  I pretty much know what I'm ordering when we decide to eat here. I really enjoy their cheese pizza but we have also had their traditional veggie (my moms favorite), pepperoni, sausage and black olive.... all great. My two salads I LOVE are their raspberry, and Cesar chicken salad. It's really about the dressing. Their ranch is delicious as well. Tonight we ordered pick up and had chicken at home already bbq'd so we got the salad without chicken. Their breadsticks are AMAZING and you get one with a salad. (The ones in the pic are a little overcookedThey have some yummy black iced tea.
  
  The Parmesan chicken we tried a while back and will not be ordering it again.
  
  The broad street location is smaller so not great for large parties. I enjoy sitting out on their front patio area rather than sitting inside. When you arrive you  grab a menu by their register, then a table, and once your narrowed your choices down you order at the register and they bring all your yummy food to you.
  
  Another visit this time we ate in and once again we were blown away. 2 salads & a 12" pizza two toppings 25$. Pics are of their amazing breadsticks, raspberry salad and a yummy pepperoni & Canadian bacon pizza

  I ordered lasagnas for a Bridal Shower for my daughter. They were fantastic. Perfect meal for our special event.
